Generator Installation Amarillo TX
Patrick Electric Service, Inc.
Never lose power again. Authorized Generac dealer since 2014, providing expert sales, installation, and ongoing maintenance for your home standby generator.
When a severe Panhandle storm knocks out the power grid, you shouldn't have to worry about your family's safety, your food spoiling, or your home freezing.
A home standby generator provides ultimate peace of mind. Unlike portable generators that you have to drag out and fuel up in the dark, a standby generator sits outside your home like an AC unit and kicks on automatically the moment you lose power.
Authorized Generac Dealer Since 2014
Patrick Electric Service, Inc. isn't just an electrical company that occasionally hooks up a generator. We have been a dedicated Generac sales and service dealer since 2014. What does that mean for you?
- Expert Sizing & Selection: We don't guess. We calculate your home's exact electrical load to recommend the right size generator—whether you want to power just the essentials or your entire home.
- Factory-Backed Quality: Buying through an established dealer means you get genuine equipment, proper warranty registration, and priority access to parts.
- Long-Term Support: We don't just install it and walk away. We provide the ongoing service and maintenance required to keep your generator ready for the next outage.
How It Works: The Automatic Transfer Switch
The secret to a standby generator is the automatic transfer switch (ATS). We install this device next to your electrical panel. It constantly monitors the power coming from the utility company.
The second it detects an outage, the ATS automatically disconnects your home from the grid, starts the generator, and restores your power—usually within seconds. When the utility power returns, it seamlessly switches you back and shuts the generator down. You don't have to lift a finger.
Generator Service & Maintenance
A generator is essentially an engine sitting outside your home. Just like a car, it needs regular maintenance to run reliably—oil changes, filter replacements, and battery checks. As a Generac dealer, we handle all the routine maintenance and repairs to ensure your system fires up when you need it most.
